About Daleko niedaleko:

Daleko niedaleko is a well established travel blog dating back to 2009. It started as a travel diary and evolved to a website presenting photographs, documentaries, articles about various cultures and places, as well as some practical information for travellers. The blog features not only the most popular tourist attractions but also off-the-path destinations which happen to be hidden gems. Having the opportunity to live in certain countries for a longer period of time due to my work in tourism industry I also tend to get to know those places better, mingling with locals and exploring their culture in various aspects: culinary preferences, traditions and festivals. Moreover, what excites me a lot are wonders of nature all around the world.

On the blog you will find a little bit of those things: beautiful places, interesting cultures, delicious food and stunning nature.

One of my biggest personal achievements was writing a travel guide about Kenya which was published by Bezdroża, one of the biggest and best established Polish travel publishing houses. I also published a story about Dominican Republic in Poznaj Świat, the oldest Polish printed travel magazine. Additionally, I have been invited a couple of times to the national television and radio programmes to talk about traveling.

As far as the blog is concerned it has been mentioned a few times as one of the most interesting Polish travel blogs. Not long after it’s launch it has been nominated as one of the 10 best Polish travel blogs in The Blog of the Year 2009 contest carried out by, one of the largest Polish websites.
