Emi w drodze

Emi w drodze (translated as Emi on the way) is recognized as the best source of information for Poles planning their trip to Indonesia and inspiration for girls travelling solo longterm to places like India.

About Emi w drodze:

When in 2011 I left Europe with one way ticket, I didn’t think I would soon call Asia my second home. Now, based in Indonesia, I write about expat life in a muslim country and visiting different (so far mostly Asian) countries. Besides travelling for nearly two years non-stop I also lived (and worked) in Germany, Norway, Denmark and New Zealand. I prefer visiting places off the beaten track rather than popular tourist attractions. Prefer sleeping in a tent than 5stars hotel. And I’m sure one day I’ll hit the road again for longer!
Food became very important to me while travelling – I choose places to eat carefully, willing to try as much local delicacies as I can, at the same time avoiding sugar, processed or chemically treated food and plastic – and all that is a real challenge in Asia! I care about animals – would never visit a zoo.
