About Emi w drodze:

When in 2011 I left Europe with one way ticket, I didn’t think I would soon call Asia my second home. Now, based in Indonesia, I write about expat life in a muslim country and visiting different (so far mostly Asian) countries. Besides travelling for nearly two years non-stop I also lived (and worked) in Germany, Norway, Denmark and New Zealand. I prefer visiting places off the beaten track rather than popular tourist attractions. Prefer sleeping in a tent than 5stars hotel. And I’m sure one day I’ll hit the road again for longer!
Food became very important to me while travelling – I choose places to eat carefully, willing to try as much local delicacies as I can, at the same time avoiding sugar, processed or chemically treated food and plastic – and all that is a real challenge in Asia! I care about animals – would never visit a zoo.

Achievements:

– Guest posts for various famous bloggers and nationwide portals
– First places in Google search for many Polish phrases about Indonesia
– Mentioned as an Indonesia-expert on several big travel blogs
– One of the 100 best expat blogs from all over the world at bab.la – 2016 edition
– Creating a succesfull and rewarded hostel
– Interview for Elle magazine
